Doing things that move you away from your goal can create momentum in the completely opposite direction

Build momentum

Motivation and planning are vital for behaviour change but momentum is the force that gets things done on a daily basis. Momentum literally means the speed of movement in one direction or another. This direction can be towards your goal, or away from your goal.
