How to use this site

Navigation

This website has been designed to be used in conjunction with your counsellor. We have set up the site so that you can select activities with your counsellor. In your profile you can share your thoughts and comments with your counsellor in real time. This means you can write about the activities while you are doing them. You can even leave a note for your counsellor as a reminder on what you would like to discuss in the next session.

As this program is to be used with a counsellor it is set up so that your counsellor can see what activities you have completed. No one else will be able to view your notes or comments - just your allocated counsellor.

My Activities

Once you read the activity and find it interesting, you can complete it and write notes and thoughts on the notepad at the bottom of each activity. These notes will be saved as a draft. Make as many drafts as you wish, there is no limit. The drafts will automatically appear in My Activities where you can think more about these activities, adjust them, and finalise.

  • My profile: You can change your password or add a profile image here.
  • Draft activities: This is an opportunity to sieve through many great options and pick only the ones you really want to do. The rest of the drafts can be deleted or stay in the drafts for later. Once a draft is ‘complete’, it will automatically move into the Completed Activities tab. If you tick a box Request feedback now your counsellor will receive a notification that you would like them to look at your thoughts. Otherwise, you can discuss it in-person at your next session.
  • Completed activities: These are the activities you decided were worth trying. You can update the activities and ask your counsellor for feedback at any point.

Your counsellor's role

You can involve your counsellor while working on this approach at any point. The counsellor will help you to clarify whether this activity is a good fit for you and any specific details about executing the activity.

You can contact a counsellor when you need their support regarding individual activities using the messaging system under My Activities. You can also discuss your thoughts and ideas during counselling sessions.
